We purchased this model to replace a KitchenAid dishwasher that wore out from years of use. I love the many wash and dry settings and ability to modify how I wash and dry the dishes (top drawer only, sensor wash and dry, etc.) I found that with the 3rd top rack, the space is not as optimal as without the 3rd rack. Even with the top drawer's height being adjustable, you can't wash tall glasses on top and large plates on bottom if you have the 3rd rack installed. You can, however, take it out when needed. I have to say that I am loving the 3rd top rack for knives, plastic lids and other small items. I like the bottle wash option and I enjoy the adjustable section in the bottom drawer for larger dishes and pans. I did not think I would use the divider lid on the silverware tray, but I did try it and now I love it. It groups them nicely so that putting them away goes quickly. The big plus is the fact that it keeps them separated so they all get clean every time. I also like that the plates are washed upright instead of at an angle. Other models we checked out, held the plates at an angle in the bottom drawer and they seemed to fall against each other easily. I like the small removable basked at the back of the top drawer for small items and measuring spoons sets. Overall the one thing I enjoy more than anything is how quiet it is!!. You can't really tell it is running so you have to observe the indicator light to know what it is doing. One last comment, it uses less water which is great for water conservation and the monthly water bill, but the wash cycle is longer to compensate. Not an issue, you just need to plan ahead sometimes if you expect to use it twice a day with a large family or when preparing a large meal for guests or holidays.
